Saturday Nights show started out to be a great
night of racing with the Crash & Bash. We had
standing room only, the parking lot was full, the pits
had 20 Modified Mini takes the track for qualifying
for the 50 lap feature to be run later in the
evenings program.The top qualifier was the #89
Scott Sharpe, followed by #9 Robbie Storer, 3rd #18
Jason Bertsch, 4th #57 Jason Rendell followed by
#8 Richie Acres. After the Mod. Mini qualifying, the
heats races were run. The features got stated and
we were able to run the V-8 Bombers, Champ Karts
and the Kids Club, the Modified Mini took the track
and them the rain came down, the Modified Mini
race had to be postponed until a later date as the
rains would not let up enough to get the track in
good racing conditions for their race. The figure 8
race also will be run at a later date. After the rain
delay the Enduro took to the track with 14 car to
run 50 laps on the wet track. They were slipping
and sliding and putting on a good show. After that
the Demo Derby cars took the track with only 5
cars, the last two cars running split the $1,000
purse. the winners in the classes that ran are as
follows:
