The Florida Winged Sprints heat up Halloween night at Auburndale Speedway

This Halloween Auburndale Speedway will host the Florida Winged Sprints to
race
on the .25-mile bull ring. The drivers will be bringing treats for the fans along
with all the regular classes. Intermission will be the place to be with costume
contest for the kids and plenty of prizes and treats for all. The cars and teams
will be out on the track for trick or treat with the fans.

When the feature races start, the crowd will get to see some of the very best
sprint car races in the state. These are the true sprint car racers - the ones
that race asphalt and dirt and have no fear. The dirt cars on the asphalt is
always a challenge but it is real sprint car racing at it truest form.

With points leader Paulie Milum carrying a 5-point lead into this race, he has
his work cut out for him as Tim George sits in second in the points and looks to
change that on Halloween night. These drivers are one and two on the dirt points
at East Bay Raceway also. At 13 points from the lead is Mike Schroeder, who
is the winner of the last Florida Winged Sprints race and also sits at the top
points chase in the Top Gun Sprints on the dirt, There are three racers that are
doing it on the asphalt and dirt and getting the job done right. This group
is packed full of talent with Travis Bliemeister only 28 points back
in fourth and Charlie Lee is fifth in the points at thirty 33 points back. The
top five is a tight race showing just how close the competition is. Other
regulars Shane Kreidler and Darrin Miller are always in the mix to win along
with Frankie Hurst, Skeeter Faulconer and rookies Rebecca George and Tyler
Eaton.

With expected racers as Jimmy Alvis, Clyde Poole, Butch Harris, Jeannette
Burnett, Rich Alexander and
Gene Lasker, aka “Mr. September,” who plans to win against the best. Can
Lasker
win on the asphalt? You will have to be there to see if he can.

Along with the Florida Winged Sprints Auburndale Speedway will have Legends,
Bandoleros, Modified Minis, V-8 Bombers, Scrambler, Mini Cups and Mini Stocks
for a full night of Halloween racing excitement.
